Final Futurism Piece

Final Futurism Piece

For my final cubism piece, I used 3 different picture.
I like the typography in this piece because it's different therefore it stands out more, but if I was going to change it next time I'd take more time to change the 'futurist' text to futurism so I wouldn't have to but art down and the typography could also be bolder and bigger.

Final Cubism Piece

Cubism Final Piece

I like my final piece for cubism, as I like how what the typography, is placed where there's a space and works well with the whole cubism picture because the cubism typography is surrounded by a cubism effect. If I could change anything about it, next time I might add colour into the cubism effect to make the theme stand out a little bit more.

task 3 hand made cubism piece

Hand Made Cubism Piece

For this image I used all the same image but some was smaller than others and I just cut pieces off some of the smaller pictures.

This cubism piece was made by cutting up the the picture and sticking them down differently and off at an angle. If I was going to go it again and change it next time I'd make sure more of the page was covered.

Task 4 mock-up

Mock Ups

For this mock up, I like how the cubism writing looks 3D and how it stands out from the picture, it makes it look like it fits in with the whole of the picture and makes it work together to make the picture look better, although next time I'll use a different picture, to explore how to make more cubism pictures look different.

For my futurism mock up, I liked how the typography was set out on this picture and how it's text is in the space where it's got no people.

Task 4 Book Cover

3 book covers

I like this typography book cover because it's straight forward but also its bold and stands out, therefore how the writing is set out looks good because Harry Potter is bold and the name of the film is smaller, so I personally think it makes it look good.

I don't personally like this typography as it's aimed more for the younger end and isn't standing out as much as the adult book cover, therefore I think the adult version is a lot better than the kids version.

I like all the twilight saga's typography because the writing looks better when it's all fancy to when writing is bold, also it works well with the images on the book covers and the layout of them.

I like the typography on Alfie Deyes' book because how the word 'the' is all bold and caps lock and 'Pointless Book' is all fancy and looks as if it's in the book and looks like the book is ripped. Also his book doesn't look like it's aimed to just any type of age groups.

Task 4 Typography

Typography

Typography is a basic part of design, from a detailed and simplistic point-of-view, Typography is the arrangement of type, but there is so much more to it than that, it can mean different things depending on who you ask.

Typography is quite simply, the art and technique of arranging type. It’s important to the work and skills of a designer and is about much more than making the words understandable.
